“Nelson Mandela’s fight for freedom during the South African Apartheid has been well documented in various films, but that of his contemporary Jean-Yves Ollivier has gone largely unnoticed on the big screen. Until now, that is. Carlos Agulló and Mandy Jacobson’s documentary-thriller “Plot For Peace” shines a light on the many instrumental accomplishments of Algerian-born French businessman Ollivier, from his involvement in signing the 1988 Brazzaville Protocol to his efforts to release Mandela from jail.”
